Set up Picture Password to unlock your screen
The Picture Password feature lets you unlock your device using a unique number and picture combination. To unlock your
screen, you move a grid to align a number over a specific location on a picture. You choose the number, location, and
picture. It is difficult for another person to guess your picture password even if the other person watches you unlock your
screen.
Before you can set up the Picture Password feature, you must set up a screen lock that uses either a password or a PIN. If
you enter your picture password incorrectly five times, your device prompts you to enter the password or PIN to unlock your
screen.
CAUTION: You won't be able to use Picture Password to unlock your device when you restart it if you chose the option to
require a password or PIN to start your device. When you restart your device, you'll have to use your password or PIN to
unlock it. You can use Picture Password to unlock your device at any other time.
